The board has proposed a rule amendment.  This proposal appears in the February 17, 2020 edition of the North Carolina Register.

 

Summary of rule

 

The rule implements S.L. 2019-91, which establishes a process for individuals with criminal records to request a predetermination.  The rule specifies the requirements for a request and establishes a $45.00 fee.

 

Fiscal note

 

The proposed rule has a fiscal impact, and the Office of State Budget and Management has approved the board's fiscal note.  The note indicates that there is an impact on state funds and the private sector.  To see the fiscal note, please click on the links below.

 

 

Public hearing on rule
